Shannon was blessed to homeschool her 4 children for 23 years. She feels it was the best choice she ever made, other than marrying her husband of 31 years. Mike and Shannon homeschooled through the highs and lows of life, including disabilities and severe illnesses. Throughout her homeschooling years, Shannon served as a co-op coordinator and provided educational experiences at a local library for homeschooling families. Shannon has her MA in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is currently a school-based counselor and is completing her certification in School Counseling. In addition, Shannon serves as a CHAP mentor.
