Coming Together
to equip, to encourage, to endure

Hebrews 10:23-25 NIV

Those who obey the Lord in discipling their children walk on a narrow, uphill road.

Our prayer is that at the 2024 CHAP Convention you will not only receive indispensable information, but you will receive in-person, face-to-face encouragement to begin or continue on the blessed journey of discipling the next generation. Speakers, many vendors, volunteers, and the CHAP team are all there for the purpose of helping you and glorifying God as you move through your homeschooling journey of faith.

By Attending The Convention You Will

BE AFFIRMED that homeschooling is the right choice for your family by listening to insightful speakers, investigating homeschool curriculum, and bumping elbows with the many others that have gone ahead of you.

BE EQUIPPED as you gain practical record-keeping, planning, various subject-specific, and life-teaching skills.

BE STRENGTHENED and challenged as others recount God’s faithfulness in their homeschooling journey of faith through various kinds of trials—housing challenges, navigating special needs, financial fears, health or relationship issues—and call you to move ahead, avoiding the pitfalls they encountered.

BE INFORMED by homeschool veterans in the CHAP Booth who can provide instructions on how to meet Pennsylvania’s homeschooling requirements, information on support groups near you, wise biblical counsel, and a listening ear.

BE SUPPORTED by connecting with friends as you rest and recharge at an all-you-care-to-eat lunch in the marketplace, or picnic on the lawn.

BE CARED FOR and lifted up by someone at the continuously manned CHAP Prayer Booth.

What Others Have Said...

I came away from the conference having been refreshed, encouraged, and spurred on in my homeschooling.

I learned a lot from the sessions I went to. I love learning how to better my parenting skills and homeschool skills. Everyone was so helpful and willing to chat about things when I wanted to.

I came away feeling encouraged to keep up the homeschool journey. It was great how much scripture was used in promoting homeschooling. We can do this! The community was also great!

The speakers were phenomenal and I left encouraged and excited to continue in my homeschool journey. I learned so much!

I experienced the whole range of emotions. My love for Jesus was deepened and my passion for bringing the Gospel into our home was intensified. I received some very practical ideas to bring home and learned more about the dual enrollment opportunities that were weighing heavy on my mind. I was extremely blessed by this conference!

I always love being among so many homeschoolers. The young moms I brought were very excited about the whole weekend.

I was encouraged. I took home tips to use in my home. My teenager was thrilled to be around a large group of homeschooling teens and families.

My intention for attending the conference was to hear a special Word from God, get clarity, and direction on my upcoming homeschool year. Mission accomplished!

Everything was easy from registering to navigating where to go and at what time. It was my first convention I’ve gone to for homeschooling and it was enjoyable. The speakers were amazing…… I loved every workshop I attended and I plan on purchasing some I didn’t get to. Will definitely be coming back next year

This was my first time coming to convention. We will be starting to homeschool this upcoming school year. The CHAP convention was so encouraging!
