Piercing Word – Scripture Performance and Memorization Workshop
This will be an exciting and challenging session as Aaron and Emily House perform scripture word-for-word from the ESV Bible. The teens will also be challenged to go deeper in their walk with Christ through the spiritual discipline of Bible Memorization. The scripture performances will include Philippians, James, and Romans 8. In the memorization workshop that follows, the group will memorize several verses together and learn powerful memorization techniques that will transform boring memorization methods into a life-giving, fun-filled spiritual exercise!

CHERI FRAME – Career Explorations with Teens
Career Exploration might just be one of the most important element of your teen’s high school experience. Yet many will graduate still uncertain about what to study in college or what career to pursue. Determining a vocation starts with understanding God’s design for work and how you are specially designed to fit in His plan. This seminar helps students identify how to find their best-fit career options and equips parents with the steps and resources to walk alongside and be their students’ very best career coach.
NATHAN CLARKSON - How to Follow Dreams and Your Calling at the Same Time
A behind the scenes look at Nathan’s story as a faith-based actor and filmmaker and a look into how God places dreams, passions, skills, and talents in our lives for his purposes and how we follow him into the story he has for us to tell by chasing them.
STEVE DEMME - Slaying Lions and Honoring Parents
In examining the life of David, Steve gleans helpful insights into the battles facing young people today. This workshop will clarify the issues, and encourage our youth to stand strong in their faith. All scripture is inspired and profitable for Christians of all ages, and in all times.
EMILY SEILHAMER
Not sure what direction God wants you to take after high school? Come hear the story of how past homeschooler Emily Seilhamer took her God given, artistic talents and turned them into her own businesses called Connecting in Color. Through her businesses she is able to bless individuals in nursing homes, adult day cares, and memory care facilities throughout central PA. In this session you will hear how God can take frustrating circumstances to guide you in the right direction.
THRIVENT - College Planning Basics and Financial Aid 101
Thrivent Student Resources—Denise Eder SVP Strategic Relationships
This presentation is aimed to help high school students understand their college options, with a focus on how academics and admissions make a difference. It will teach students how to navigate the college application process, and understanding the basics of college financial aid. Included in this session will be pointing out the difference between Myths and Facts regarding financial aid. It provides tips and tricks to lower costs and save money on college education. During the presentation, we will show students free tools and resources to help them navigate the process.
TOMMY HOOPSICK - Planned Entrepreneurship: Strategy and ideas for young adults
Come hear from Tommy Hoopsick, homeschool graduate and owner of DUCTZ as he shares the process of thinking through a plan, picking something to do, having flexibility and adaptability, and what's the main idea of why you are thinking about being an entrepreneur.
